Aspies Teen Chat comments =

Hi this is my first time on here. I'm emma and I'm 17. I've never been diagnosed with aspergers, but I'm really shy, have a hard time meeting/keeping friends :/ I never know how to keep a convo going, and I've never felt “normal”. I'm stressed all the time cause I'm always failing my classes :/ my mom said during elementary school I've always made A's and the occasional B. It’s just since 7th grade since my grades have been dropping. I also think I've been depressed on and off since about that same time as well. I've been looking online as to what might be wrong with me and aspergers came up. Could I have it? Anyone out there wanna help me figure this out? Or even just talk to me please? I would appreciate it very much!

  1. Diagnosing yourself is always risky, but trying to understand yourself is a worthy quest. Don't go this alone. Make an appointment with your family doctor and have him run a survey on you to see if it is worth taking to the next level. If your doctor thinks you might be an Aspie, then he/she will refer you to the appropriate professional who can help. And there is help.
Good luck. The search for self is a worthwhile search.
